Ministry Facilitator Reverend Paul Klopke
Pastor Paul Klopke recently moved from the Northern Illinois District of the LCMS to New Palestine, Indiana, where he serves as Voice of Care’s Ministry Facilitator for the Indiana District. His wife Julie is Principal at St. John Lutheran School in Indianapolis. Paul and Julie have been married for over 35 years. Paul previously served as associate pastor at St. Peter Lutheran Church and School, Arlington Heights, Illinois, where for seven years he specialized in Senior Care and Special Needs. While in Northern Illinois, Paul served as a chaplain to individuals in nursing homes, hospitals, and disability centers, representing the ministry of Voice of Care and local churches. Paul holds a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor of Arts in Lutheran Elementary Education and Director of Christian Education training from Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois. He and Julie have two grown children: Philip Klopke, a Director of Christian Education, and Jillian Hewitt, a Registered Nurse. Both are both married and live in Nashville, Tennessee. Paul is also the proud grandfather of Porter Klopke. Porter loves assisting his “Papa" with playing his guitar and singing songs. Pastor Paul, shares, “I am missionary consultant to local churches and organizations, helping them to serve and join Jesus for and with people with disabilities and their care givers, whom we also invite to serve and join Jesus.” |
