JAMES: "Why don’t people believe in God?”
After a “Jesus Time” devotion at a Ray Graham Association center in Addison, Illinois, Voice of Care Ministry Facilitator Reverend Paul Klopke had a chance to minister and speak with the facility residents one on one. He took time to visit with James, a middle aged man, who appeared concerned and distraught.
In halting, broken speech he asked Pastor Paul, “Why don’t people believe in God?” Pastor Paul thought to himself, “Wow! This man has cognitive and speech disabilities, and yet, his concern is not with his own limitations but for the eternal well-being of others.” James, despite his disabilities, is selflessly focused on others and carries a burden for the people who do not believe in God. He believes; why can’t the world believe? |
