Ministry Facilitator Reverend Paul Klopke
Reverend Paul Klopke coordinates Voice of Care's ministry in the North Region and also serves as the Associate Pastor for Seniors and Special Needs at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois, where his wife Julie is Assistant Principal and Early Childhood Director. Paul was the pastor Living Christ Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights for over 15 years. He taught elementary classes at St. John Lutheran School in LaGrange, Illinois, and served as the Director of Christian Education at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Montgomery, Illinois. He previously focused on children’s ministry, confirmation, outreach and adult Bible classes at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carmi, Illinois, and Trinity Lutheran Church in McLeansboro, Illinois. Paul holds a Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and a BA in Lutheran Elementary Education and Director of Christian Education training at Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois. He and Julie have two grown children, Philip and Jillian. In addition to his ministry to individuals in nursing homes, hospitals and disability centers, Paul enjoys playing guitar, singing praises to God and sharing God’s word with young and old alike.
