Ministry Intern Deaconess Student Lori Trinche
Intern Lori Trinche joins Voice of Care while working at the LCMS Northern Illinois District as an office assistant assigned to the Business and Communications/Advancement departments and Lutheran Church Extension Fund. Formerly the Mission and Ministry coordinator for Lutherans for Life, Lori is a lay member on the NID Life Issues Task Force and a writer and speaker on life issues, including encouraging sexual purity for youth and purity within marriage. Lori is a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Burr Ridge where she is active in music ministry and various volunteer projects addressing human care and stewardship, She also helps coordinate Trinity’s annual community clinic and service fair, and Lori helps train people for advocacy. She is a frequent speaker and writer about life issues, and a volunteer post abortion ministry counselor. She has just begun Deaconess studies at Concordia University Chicago. Lori enjoys the outdoors and loves to tend Trinity's church gardens and help care for gardens for those who are sick or disabled.
