To enable the church in serving Christ to do ministry with persons developmentally challenged and those who care for them within congregations, homes, residential facilities and communities. Seeking with them our Lord’s good plan for them and enabling their full participation in the Body of Christ.

Outreach

Outreach To Mississippi!

Each spring a group of volunteers drive down to Long Beach Mississippi, for one week, to a State Facility where over a 100 people with disabilities live. A Christian Camp is provided for the clients and staff each morning. In the afternoon the volunteers help people that live in the area to rebuild from the hurricane destruction a few years ago.

Christ Joy Gathering!

Special Needs Worship at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1116 East Devon Ave., Bartlett, IL 60103. www.bartlettimmanuellcms.org. With Voice of Care the fourth sunday of each month a Vesper Worship service is held at 3pm. Light refreshments and fellowship to follow each service.
