Camping Ministry

Voice of Care provides Christian camping fellowship and fun for children and adults with developmental disabilities, called the Special Needs HandyCamp Program.

Each summer seven weeks of integrated camping are offered for campers to experience camp alongside other camp programs. One of those weeks is dedicated to campers ages 6-24. Up to 14 campers can attend each session.

 In December an Advent retreat at Walcamp is offered with lots of singing,  a Christmas pageant, cookie decorating, crafts and bowling. 

A HandyCamp Fund has been established to help with camper fees and other needs for this program. Donations for the HandyCamp Fund may be sent to: Voice of Care, PO Box 117, Wheaton, Illinois 60187-0117
